Recent work of Five E's has focused on two areas:

1. over the last several years we have developed a solid reputation for successfully assisting communities in strategic planning for sustainable communities; and
2. we have researched, published and are disseminating the Sustainability Manifesto, a comprehensive narrative of sustainability awareness, to individuals and in a retreat/workshop format to organizations and businesses.

Warren Flint of Five E's Unlimited served as a Countryside Stewardship Exchange Team member to the Dumphies-Galloway region of Scotland. Wigtown, Scotland had more than its share of challenges when the Countryside Exchange visited. Raymond Armstrong had purchased an old distillery, operating it as a visitor center. The Exchange team's public presentation on their assessment of the region changed him -- and Wigtown. "I was struck by the team's honesty," Raymond says.
